Laytons launches Family Law Surgery
The Family Team is pleased to announce the start of the Family Law Surgery to be held at Laytons’ Manchester office on Wednesday evenings from 5.00 to 6.30pm commencing 30 January 2008. This will enable individuals requiring legal advice out of regular office hours to book an initial free 30 minute appointment with one of our specialist Family Law solicitors. Laytons Hosts the Four Jurisdictions Conference
Christine Barker and Emma Gill of the Family Department have been selected to represent Laytons as the host solicitors for the Four Jurisdictions Conference. The conference is in its 13th year and takes place in a different location annually, rotating through each jurisdiction. This years conference takes place at the prestigious Hilton Hotel on the 8 to 10 February. Christine and Emma have worked with other committee members for the past 10 months to organise what will undoubtedly be a spectacular event.
A cocktail party will take place at the Museum of Science and Industry on the Friday evening, with a full Academic programme on Saturday followed by Champagne reception and Gala Black Tie dinner.
Emma Gill has also been invited to attend the Association of Women Judges dinner on Thursday evening preceding the conference.
